There are many ways that you can support our ministry. First we are always in need of volunteers. Our volunteers generally assist us in the following ways:

• Pick-up of items donated to the Port ministries

• Help with cleaning and organizing our centers

• General office/clerical work

• Providing transportation

• Assisting the chaplain on duty at one of our centers

We would also be glad to have your Sunday School, Auxiliary, Youth group, Mission group or any organization come out and minister at one of our centers. You could even adopt the Port Ministries as a regular project of your organization. For more information about how you or your group can get involved contact Bob Loy or fill out our volunteer form.

Secondly, you can support us through your prayers. God's Word tells us...Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results. James 5:16 (The New Living Translation). With that in mind we have included a Prayer Calendar that you may print out and use to pray for our staff and our ministry on a daily basis.

Lastly, we can also use your financial support. The Denominational support for this ministry is limited. Therefore we depend upon God and the graciousness of His people. You or your group or organization may support this ministry financially in one of the following ways:

• By a one time donation of cash, securities, stocks, or other tangible items

• By joining Club Anchor our monthly support team

• By giving to a special Endowment set up to honor Charles Lawhon
